Uncle Bacon Salt Company is a small, family-owned spice company based in Asheville, North Carolina. We make premium restaurant-style flavored salts and seasoning blends for home cooks, bartenders, chefs, food trucks, bars, restaurants, and anyone who wants bold, quality flavor at an affordable price.
We hand-label, hand-bottle, and personally oversee everything we make. Every product is crafted with premium ingredients, contains no artificial fillers or colors, and every single one is vegan and vegetarian friendly.
The Story Behind the Name
The name Uncle Bacon starts with a lifelong nickname. Growing up, "Bacon" stuck because of a deep love for bacon. Later, nieces, nephews, and the kids of close friends started calling the founder "Uncle Bacon" — and it became a part of who he is.
When COVID shut down bartending work, a homemade bacon sriracha sea salt he had been making for Bloody Marys and margaritas kept getting attention. With over 30 years in the hospitality industry, he knew flavor and people — so he started a business.
"Food and drink is the one thing that since the beginning of time, humans have communed over. It brings people together. We want to make that experience better."
